The course is specially designed for the World Championships giving more thrills, fun and challenge to the riders. Fast and fluently in the beginning, demanding by its single trails in the mid part up to 90 km. After 60 km the course is leading through the start finish area in the stadium and going out again for the remaining distance. In one big loop the course is leading through the well wooded hill country of middle altitude in the nature park Saar-Hunsrück going steadily up and down.
