Leisure time in the Wendelinus recreation center
The Wendelinus recreation center situated at the outskirts of the city offers exceptional possibilities for modern trend sports on spacious grounds. Highlights are the circuit of about 5 km which is entirely asphalted and illuminated at night and which is used very much by joggers, skaters and bikers, the golf park with a public 9-hole course and a large 27-hole championship course, and one of the biggest skating facilities in Europe with a 300 m speed-oval, funbox, curbbox, snakerun, quarterpipe, miniramps, bowl, highramps, combibox and hockey field. A well-equipped wellness-center, gastronomic offers to stay and fill-up the energy reserves and a sportive pool (in the planning phase) complete the range of possibilities.
